I wish there was more time in a day to do it all, work, write, read, rest, and play.
Every once in a while something will inspire me to write, daydream, ponder, and reflect. What comes forth comes forth.
When a post does arrive in your inbox, my hope is that something moves you, a reminder, a nudge of family, or a lover lost. I hope to make you ponder that which makes life….well, Life.
Hopefully, I’ll make you laugh and make you cry because I’ve stirred a memory of love, the joys, and the losses of ALL the different ways of love. The love of a child, love of a parent, love of a lover and friend, love of Self, and the best of you, love of the sea and far-off lands, love of living. The beauty, the bittersweet heartbreaks. and the longing of it all.

Deceased parents, long distant kids, a move…
Winter Solstice
There is a quiet stretch of days at the turning of the year, between the darkest night and the return of the light, when time seems to soften, and a hush comes over the earth. Particularly in the north where the beauty of the changing seasons offer their own reflections.

If inclined and kind, I’m happy to hear from you
