ABOUT

Leora Sanchez is a Yoga Alliance RYT 500hr Hatha yoga teacher and Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist. She is a student of Yoga Philosophy and Ayurveda of the Himalayan Tradition, completing her 200 and 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training, and Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist Training at the Himalayan Institute in Honesdale, PA. She is currently working on her Vishoka Meditation post-certification training and teaching hours. 

As a resident, program manager, and student of the Himalayan Institute, Leora has worked with and studied under some of the world’s leading Yoga philosophers and instructors, including Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, Rolf Sovik, Ishan Tiguanit, Sandra Anderson, Shari Friedrichsen, Judy Moulton, and Kathryn Templeton.

Through a yogic lifestyle, the continued practices of asana and meditation, and the world-view experiences of travel, Leora has developed an inner depth and richness that has eased and softened her heart, stabilized a health imbalance, and opened the door to an inner world of peace, love, and simplicity.

In my hopes of sharing yoga with you, I hope you too will discover the gifts of the breath, inner strength, stability, peace and healing, and a renewed discovery of the Divine within yourself”. ​

 Leora is currently a resident yoga teacher at the Himalayan Institute and Pure Rejuv Wellness Center. She spends her free time writing and wandering the country roads of northeastern Pennsylvania & upstate New York taking photos and joyfully getting lost only to discover she is right where she is meant to be.
