🌿 Meeraji’s Chai

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 2 tablespoons NamasTea (Camellia Sinensis – Single Estate Tea from the Nilgiri Mountains)
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 to 1⅓ cups whole milk
  • 1 pinch green cardamom powder

Instructions:

  1. Bring water to a boil.
  2. Add ginger and black pepper; boil for 2 minutes.
  3. Add NamasTea and boil for 5 more minutes.
  4. Add milk and return to a rolling boil for 2 minutes.
  5. Add cardamom, remove from heat, cover, and let steep for 5 minutes.
  6. Strain and serve warm.

Optional Notes:

  • Use more NamasTea for a stronger brew.
  • If using low-fat milk, slightly increase milk ratio to retain creaminess.
  • For cold chai: cool to room temperature, refrigerate, and enjoy chilled.
